The Lagos State Police Command on Friday arraigned rapper Panshak Zamani, popularly known as Ice Prince, before a magistrate.
Benjamin Hundeyin, Public Relations Officer of the command, confirmed to FIJ that Zamani was charged for assault, obstruction and abduction a police officer.
FIJ earlier reported that Zamani was arrested at 3 am on Friday for driving without a licence and then assaulting the officer who held him for the offence.

Several members of the public reacted to this statement and asked for video evidence.

For those asking for video evidence, yes we have it. And no, we won’t release it. A very close ally of his has seen it. It will be presented to the presiding magistrate as part of our evidence.— SP Benjamin Hundeyin (@BenHundeyin) September 2, 2022
His tweet read, “For those asking for video evidence, yes we have it. And no, we won’t release it. A very close ally of his has seen it. It will be presented to the presiding magistrate as part of our evidence.”
