Most people associate money and sport with footballers, especially high-level players like Cristiano Ronaldo, and Lionel Messi, but young Leicester City footballer Faiq Bolkiah takes the spot for the richest player in the world, as he belongs to the family of the Sultan of Brunei.
Bolkiah is the nephew of the Sultan, Hassanal Bolkiah, who possess a fortune valued at 20 billion dollars.
This is how the young billionaire Faiq Bolkiah lives
Someone might ask: What is the use of having so much money?
Mainly to do what you want.
One of Bolkiah’s main hobbies is playing football with his pet tiger.
His father, Jefri Bolkiah, owner of at least 2300 cars is not far behind either because according to British sources he spent around 14 million euros on his fiftieth birthday when he hired Michael Jackson for a private concert with his family.
The young footballer currently plays in the Leicester City academy and came from AFC Newbury in southern England.
From that point on, he has started to become known.
In 2009, the prestigious Southampton academy were introduced in Brunei but they didn’t offer him a contract.
Shortly after, Arsenal offered him a trial and he played for them in the Lion City Cup where he scored a goal.
Several clubs were interested in him, but the youngster went to great lengths to sign for Chelsea, who gave him a two-year contract.
However, Bolkiah left the club to sign with the Foxes on a three-year deal.
Born in Los Angeles, United States, Bolkiah has also decided to play with the Brunei national football team.
Despite his young age, he has already made nine appearances for his country and has one goal to his name.
Although many believe otherwise, the 19-year-old striker is a humble boy who thanks his parents for all their support.
