On the 8th of October I NOTICED AN EMAIL SAYING I HAD REGISTERED FOR MOBILE BANKING
I immediately sent an EMAIL TO UBA CFC OF THIS ANOMALY ! I KEPT ON SENDING AN CALLING
THEY NEVER REPLIED !
ON THE 25th OF OCTOBER 5 TXNS via Mobile Banking were Done to Sporty BET From The Mobile Banking APP
ON THE 26th I WENT TO THEIR BRANCH IN BENIN AGBOR ROAD AND LODGED A FORMAL PHYSICAL COMPLAINT
One of The Staff A Customer Services Lady Helped Me Lodge The Complaint and Went to Great lengths to find out what Happened
But The Manager A Lady WAS UNCONCERNED even Callous in her Approach AND TOLD ME TO FORGET IT MY MONEY IS GONE !
I WAS DUMBFOUNDED AND LEFT !
I THEN ALERTED UBA CFC CUSTOMER CARE AGAIN VIA EMAIL AND THEY IMMEDIATELY REPLIED THEY WOULD RESPOND
THEY NEVER DID
ON THE 28th I REPLIED AND THREATENED TO GO TO EFCC AND CBN AND THEY REPLIED
said they would FIX this and by the 9th of November i would get a RESPONSE
On the 10th THEY SAID THEY WOULD RESPOND BY THE 17th of NOVEMBER I should be Patient
DELAY TACTICS !
SO I AM TAKING ACTION AND CALLING OUT TONY ELUMELU’S BANK IF THE STAFF ARE COMPLICIT

But this method is TOO TECHNICAL FOR NIGERIAN SCAMMERS

Your Account Number is EASY we give our account numbers to Strangers so we can get paid ! So forget all that dont gie your account number by Banks !
ok the OTP you think it sends it your phone and ties it to your PHONE ? NO !
All they need is to see ONE ONLY ONE OTP you think its hard ? NO !
and if per adventure your phone is not with you for a split second like when you show your Phone to a sales person when a txn is declined on POS to prove that the bank debited you and in that moment they can quickly open your SMS and see the OTP reequested by SOMEONE ELSE ON ANOTHER PHONE for your Mobile Banking and in most cases its less than 6 digits easy to remember and the BANK The Mobile App will ALLOW ACCESS INTO YOUR ACCOUNTS !
and you are there Thinking That When you do Mobile Banking REGISTRATION The Bank Makes Sure it is your Number on the Phone From the OTP recieved ! NO THEY DONT !

THE SCAMMER WILL JUST HAVE YOUR ACCOUNT ON HIS PHONE and do TXNS anytime he likes on HIS PHONE with out THE BANK APP ASKING FOR ANY OTP AGAIN !
and do you also Know That MOBILE banking is AUTOMATIC FOR EVERYONE even though you dont request for it ! WOW ??? YES WOW !
Do you know a Popular Nigerian Bank had Another Twitter Handle with over 60,000 Comments etc For Customer Support with a Whatsapp Number That was used to direct Unsuspecting customers to a site to submit their Pins for authentication and also told to check their phones for OTPs to verify Them ? These OTPs were used to gain access into the Mobile Apps of such users !
DO YOU ALSO KNOW THAT THE SCAMMERS CREATE TWITTER HANDLES LIKE UBACARES ( UBACAARES ) AND COME ON THE UBA TWITTER OFFICIAL ACCOUNT !

and guess what the attackers do NOT send money to any account they use your money to buy Bet9ja SPORTYBET etc Coupons direct from the Mobile APP ! THEY ARE LISTED AS VERIFIED BET9ja Clients !
