Turn up Friday Season 2 Final Episode: Infinxi Maintained the Heat

After many weeks of upbeat Friday night parties, AM has finally pulled the curtain on the second season of Turn Up Friday. Without any doubt whatsoever, this season was totally off the hook.

We witnessed a bundle of talents on the show and were reminded once more of how music, dance, and entertainment is deeply ingrained in the African culture.

Infinix was a proud sponsor of Turn Up Friday’s return edition, and they helped to consolidate the fun experience on the show with the introduction of new engagement ideas. Talk about the weekly dance challenge that ran concurrently on social media as soon as the show got underway and the intense dance duels between outstanding dancers on selected episodes of the show. All of these activities added new layers of entertainment to this season of Turn Up Friday. To say the least, the show was satisfying.

Through the years, Infinix has echoed its interest in music, fashion, and entertainment among other subsets of pop culture. The brand has also aired its commitment towards supporting youths who wish to explore a career path in any of the earlier mentioned fields. Hence, it was no surprise that they cheerfully seized this opportunity to support and reward some young talents.

Infinix set up several challenges and rewarded many young folks who came out on top of the different contests. There was the #InfinixTUFDanceChallengedance challenge for “twinkle toes”, #StarOfTheWeekChallenge for singers and music producers, and lastly, the weekly trivia for virtually every home viewer.  Winners from each of these weekly challenges walked home with a cash prize of 200,000 among other gift prizes.

The grand finale of Turn Up Friday season 2 coincided with the new year festivities and it was a perfect night for a party. Do2dtun the “energy gad” lived up to his title once more as he hyped up the home viewers into dancing. Poco Lee, the sensational dancer, and every Generation Z’s delight when it comes to the Afro-originated dance move “legwork”, was also on stage with several other amazing and energetic dancers on the night of the grande finale.

Dj Spinall who was the DJ on set on the first episode of Turn Up Friday season 2 was also the one to bring the second season to a close. As always, he gave us a punchy mix of afro-pop hits.

Without mincing words, it has been a wonderful ride with Infinix on this return season of AM’s Turn Up Friday.

In an address by Infinix Country manager, Amos Zhao, he said, “ It was a great pleasure to partner with African Magic on this entertainment show. We’ve learnt, gotten closer to our audience, and created many wonderful memories with them in this short period”. “Judging by the great success achieved on this event, we won’t be shy to collaborate with them on other works in the future.” He added.
